The Launch is a social innovation initiative. United Way of Norman invites nonprofits to apply for a $10,000 grant for a new program filling an unmet need in our community. The Launch grant is awarded every year during the 1st quarter.

This event kicks off the next stage of the campaign, handing it off to the rest of the community and challenging them to meet this year's campaign goal.

Day of Caring
September 12, 2025 | Kickoff at 8:00 a.m.
This annual, one-day event organized by the United Way of Norman provides an opportunity for businesses and organizations to volunteer with non-profit agencies. Almost 600 volunteers will show their community spirit by donating their time and talent to paint, hammer, play games, and dance with the elderly. The day kicks off with breakfast and a little inspiration for all our volunteers before heading out to their work sites.

City of Norman Golf Tournament

Celebrity Sing

Celebrity Sing is a can't miss event featuring a show produced by Sooner Theatre that stars talented professional and amateur performers. In addition to some fantastic entertainment, attendees enjoy a delicious dinner and bid on unique auction items. Make sure to get your tickets early!

Celebrate United
December 17, 2025
Celebrate United is open to all United Way of Norman supporters, leadership, and staff from pacesetter businesses and funded partner agencies, workplace campaign participants, and campaign volunteers. Together we will celebrate the combined effort of the community to support local nonprofits.
